those children fall asleep
among the falling bombs
they dream
of a man who came
from the edge of the sky
through the line of red twilight
which the scent of his body
surrounded by
tenderness and serenity
carries a strong compassion
then
with a friendly smile
he gently grabbed their fingers
take and guide them
through the line of red twilight
to the edge of the sky
to the land of peace

Thank you for the reminder to pray each day for every child to see the Glory of God in peace, love, and a safe place to play. My prayers today will be dedicated to all children around the world. No child should ever be forgotten. mary

My heart breaks and weeps for the children who are victims of war.
I think most people have the same feelings, no one had the heart to witness the suffering of children.
Thank you Palestine.
