I am a mother, not a writer who never learn about writing
so don’t ask me about it

I am not an artist or even a poet
just depicting my thought and feeling

I am not beautiful
but inshAllah I will try to have a beautiful heart

I thank you if you like my works,
’cause it is a joy that can not be purchased
I thank Allah if my works are useful to you,
then one good thing has been done

it’s not what I have been through
in my life that defines who I am,
it’s how I get through it
that has made me the person I am today

I’m glad my life isn’t perfect,
I’m proud that I make mistakes,
I’m happy I have problems in life
It reminds me I’m real,
I’m human…
I’m me.

with love, light & peace

  3. Not just beautiful poems but you match them with powerful pictures. I am a bit of a recluse when it comes to visiting other peoples sites and leaving comments. I will only ever leave a comment when i have been emotionally moved and I could spend all day reading your blog!
well done! love it and good on you for putting yourself out there!

      • Do you play a musical instrument? Or know someone who does? Then you know, at the beginning, the student is raw and usually ungainly on the instrument, not hitting notes properly. But, after much practice and time, they “suddenly” are able to play well! Thus, too, writers grow in their ability to write well. Your capability will grow in proportion to the time and effort you put into writing.

  4. What a beautiful blog! I am blessed that you found and liked my post first, making it so easy to find you here as well. You poetry is wise and kind and I also really enjoy how you have set up your Categories. I have been thinking of improving how my posts are organized so that visitors can easily find my poems amongst my articles. You have inspired me! In more ways than one. Namaste. Gina
